Martyr’s Day recognizes the sacrifices and dedication of Emirati martyrs, who have given their lives in the UAE and abroad in the field of civil, military and humanitarian service.

Also, the UAE ranked first in the region and the 28th happiest place to live in, according to the World Happiness Report 2016.

Participants are Emiratis and those of any nationality who wants to remind the families of those who have been martyred that the UAE has not forgotten them or their sacrifice as well as considering UAE as one of the happiest nation.
