Body   Soul   and   Beyond

A group of Dubai-based international artists, DIAC Rhetorica, spent a week in the creative oasis of Liwa Art Hub participating in workshops in contemporary expressive figurative drawing led by French visual artist Guillaume Delorme, assisted by Yolanda Hessenbruch, also from France.

Guillaume, on his fourth visit to the UAE, brought his strong expressive skills and vision of the human form to the residency, to lead the group through an exploration of the human form. Guillaume approaches his work through emotional channels, generating a responsive, expressive state of mind. The focus is strongly on the process and the moment of creation, with the emotional strength of what is experienced in this moment providing beautiful, powerful results on paper.
